OUTPOST HORSE TRIP
For students completing grades 8-12

This offsite horse trip gives teens an opportunity to experience daily trail riding, horse care and camping skills at Maplewood State Park. After preparing for the trip at the ranch, each camper will be paired with a horse to care for, all while sleeping in tents and enjoying meals around the fire. Alongside enjoying creation with horses, campers will explore their faith, study God’s word, and encourage each other throughout the week. The trip will depart from and return to Camp Shamineau.

This is a six day and five night trip. Horses, tack, camping equipment and food are provided. Campers need to bring their sleeping bag, pillow, clothes, rain gear and toiletries.
