Rock Ridge’s rustic facilities are the perfect place to host your family reunion, church retreat or quiet vacation to create life-long memories. Each cabin has electricity, modern bathrooms & showers are available in the dining hall. We also offer primitive winter camping opportunities. We have a variety of on-site activities (riflery, rock climbing, sauna, swimming, hiking, canoeing, high ropes course) and the Ely area boasts a number of excellent events and attractions. Our base camp packages feature rustic dorm-style cabins that can sleep up to 11 people, fire pits for outdoor cooking or campfire sing-a-longs, beachfront, a raft, canoes, hiking trails, rope swing, fishing docks and incredible scenery. Outhouses are conveniently located at different sites around the camp, and there are flush toilets in the dining hall. We also have one of the oldest Finnish saunas in the north woods! All of these amenities are included in your lodging fee. Activities such as ropes course, zip line, rock climbing and rifle range are available for an extra fee.

Our fully accredited commercial kitchen provides bountiful homemade meals in our historic dining hall. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and can provide picnic meals for day-long fishing or hiking excursions on request. Please make us aware of special dietary needs ahead of time.

We also provide specially designed meals for outfitting and camping. Our delicious, trail-tested foods are dehydrated to save weight and space and come with cooking instructions. Please see Outfitting for details on cook kit and stove rentals.
