Father and Son fishing weekend at Rock Ridge is designed for dads and sons
to spend time together fishing, hiking, canoeing, or
just sitting around the campfire. If you like to fish,
Little Long Lake has northern pike, walleye, bass,
crappie and sunfish to keep your line busy. If fishing
isn’t your thing, you can go for a paddle on the lake,
take your son on a nature hike, check out the heron
rookery, or visit the fresh water spring. If you get
“fished out”, there are many local attractions to visit. |

The Rock Ridge
schedule is very laid back. There is a lot of free
time for you to do whatever you like. Muffins,
cereal and coffee will be available for the early
risers, with a full brunch later in the morning.
After brunch, snacks will be available to pack for
the afternoon. In the evening, there will be a
hearty supper and late chapel service.
You can bring your
own boat or use one of our aluminum canoes to haul
in your catch. If you hook enough, we will all be
able to enjoy a Sunday night fish fry. Take
advantage of this great opportunity to enjoy God’s
beautiful creation and spend quality time with your
son. |
