Bringing what you need
can help to ensure a good camp experience.
Remember to mark all clothing and gear with
the camper’s name using labels or
permanent ink. When packing, keep in mind
that no laundry service is available. Below
is a suggested list of what your camper may
need at camp, but pack according to your
child’s own needs. |
Clothing
Life at Shamineau is informal and modesty is
expected. Campers should not wear tank tops
with spaghetti straps, midriff-baring
shirts, and tight or short shorts/pants. Be
sure to pack typical play clothes—the kind
you could afford to lose and don’t mind
getting really dirty. Days can be very
hot and nights can get pretty cold, so pack
accordingly. Campers planning to ride
horses must wear long pants with boots or
lace-tied shoes. If you send a bag for dirty
clothes, please make sure it is clear,
marked “dirty clothes” and labeled with your
child’s name. |
