Camp Shamineau offers
youth camps,
family camps,
specialty camps,
island camps,
horse trips and
climbing trips. You
will be able to leave behind the distractions of everyday life, and enjoy exciting activities including the
ropes course, indoor climbing wall, Bible studies, horseback riding, swimming, blobbing, chapel times,
wakeboarding, sailing, canoeing, and much more! Our camps are
programmed to be age specific by the
grade each student has completed. Come join us at
Camp Shamineau to experience the love of Christ.

Once at camp, Trailblazer and Voyager
campers sign up for skills classes that meet daily
throughout the week. Skills Class choices may include:
Archery, Rocketry, Canoeing, Crafts, Fishing, Leather Shop,
Mountainboarding, Nature Center, Riflery, Sailing,
Skateboarding, Sports, Swimming, Wakeboarding and
Waterskiing. Availability varies and some require a fee for
supplies.
TENDERFOOT campers are introduced to
new skills while at camp. Each child will experience
supervised activities such as pony rides, swimming, campfire
donut making and much more. Tenderfooters participate in
skills classes in cabin groups.
TRAILBLAZER campers sign up for one
skills class that meets daily during the week. Classes are
chosen by each camper according to their personal interests.
A second skills class activity will be shared and chosen as
a cabin daily. Trailblazers who pre-register for Ropes
Course Skills Class will sign up for one other skills class.
VOYAGER campers sign up for one skills
class that meets daily during the week, allowing them to get
more in depth. Skills classes are chosen by each camper
according to their personal interests. Voyagers may
pre-register for the Ropes Course Skills Class as their
skills class for the week. |
