Clinics |
| WIT Clinics are offered to
students 8th grade and older who are interested in being a
Wrangler-In-Training at the Shamineau Ranch. These
weekends are open to anyone interested in learning more
about the general workings of a horse camp and its
facilities. The clinic focuses on lessons in basic
horsemanship, basic horse care, and barn and tack care,
all of which can be applied to nearly any horsemanship
program. It will also cover policies and procedures that
are specific to Shamineau Ranch and give attendees a
"heads up" on how the ranch functions. These
clinics offer the opportunity for students to get a head
start for the coming summer season. Although clinic
attendance is not a prerequisite for hiring at Shamineau,
nor does it guarantee a summer position, we strongly
encourage anyone interested in applying to attend. |

Beach Day |
This event is open to the
surrounding community! Come enjoy the beautiful Lake
Shamineau and the Camp Shamineau Waterfront on Saturday,
July 14. All ages are welcome.

Ranch Fun Show |
This
is a FUN show with a great family atmosphere. Because the
competition
is not intense, it’s the perfect opportunity to
introduce novice riders or
green horses to games. We’ll run 17 different games
including barrels,
poles, egg & spoon and many more. |

This free event is open to
the public! Many activities will be open, event runs
from 1-5 pm, December 15th - 2012. All ages are
welcome. (There is a fee for Trail Rides)

Open Climb / Open Gym |
This evening is open to
the public! Our climbing wall, the skate park and
gym are open 6-9 pm, on Thursday evenings for $5. All ages are
welcome.

On site at Camp
Shamineau, Shamineau Adventures offers a high ropes
course, low ropes course for teambuilding initiatives, ice
climbing tower, climbing wall and a 3500 square foot skate
